Re'gina Ferguson

Through the Fire

My name is Re’gina Ferguson. I’m a widow and a mother of six. My husband passed away in November of 2014, which left me as a single parent.

In November of 2016 my house caught on fire, which made me homeless.

That was the day that changed our lives because we lost EVERYTHING that we owned. We had to move in with my parents, who have a three-bedroom home.

However, when a staff member of New Salem found out that my house had caught on fire she jumped right on it and blessed us through the ministry of the Food Pantry.

I thank God for New Salem.

That was a lot to have to take in for me and my children, who are used to just having themselves.

I truly thank God for all the things He has done for me and my children. We are moving into our new condo and it is truly a blessing! I can’t complain about anything.

Through it all God has sent His angels to bless me and my family.

Thank you once again New Salem.
