  • EZ VIRTUAL FIELD TRIPS - Take 15 virtual tours around the world at historically and culturally important (primarily European and Western) places. 
  • CALM APP - Thi site offers several free guided meditation and relaxation tools through their app for those who may be feeling anxious or overwhelmed with the uncertainty of COVID-19.
  • STUDENT ACCESS to the  ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUDAdobe is making temporary at-home access to Creative Cloud available until May 31, 2020 for schools and colleges who currently have only lab access for students, at no additional cost.

  • HIGH SCHOOL RESOURCES - At-Home Learning for High School
  • SCHOLASTIC.COM - The public educational company Scholastic came up with a way to keep kids busy and learning while school closures keep them home during coronavirus pandemic. The ‘Learn From Home’ website with four categories: PreK and Kindergarten, Grades 1 and 2, Grades 3-5, and Grades 6+. Each section is already equipped with one week of content for students with 15 additional days on the way.
  • KHAN ACADEMY - Daily Schedules for ages 2 to 18
  • YOUTUBE CRASH COURSE - This channel covers a range of subject matter and has a powerful combination of audio and visual, as well as humor, to help the audience deepen their understanding of the topics addressed.
  • READ, WRITE, THINK - Read, write, and think: 6th-9th grade activities, resources, and lessons, many of which are interactive, that are multidisciplinary.
  • MATH & SCIENCE (6th-9th Grade) - This site is a resource that offers many websites covering K-12 learning that focuses on math and science.  Explore this site to find grade-based appropriate resources along the STEM spectrum. 
  • MATH TUTORIAL (paid resource) - This program is utilized by school systems across the nation in classrooms as the virtual
  • ONLINE LEARNING TIPS for PARENTS & GUARDIANS:
    1. Log into the learning management system to ensure access
    2. Update contact information for emergency communications.
    3. Download the school app and the learning management system app.
    4. Check technical requirements for browsers and plug-ins.
    5. Make sure there is adequate internet connectivity or smartphone access.
    6. If internet access is spotty, download the content from the learning management system.
    7. Take time to navigate through the online learning platform and explore its features.
    8. Check on Americans with Disabilities Act issues immediately, such as the need for closed captions or transcriptions.
    9. Discuss possible emergency procedures with teachers.
    10. Create a dedicated study space and routine.
    11. Stick to a traditional schedule to maintain learning pace and rhythm.
    12. Attend virtual office hours and participate in online study groups.
    13. Don't assume classwork will be easier because it's online.
